"State of the Art" seat system
This newly developed KAYASEAT includes a fully adjustable
backrest. It's based on upgrades that are recommended by experts, experts
that recognize that being properly fitted into your kayak is essential,
especially if you hope to be able to paddle comfortably for more than
an hour or so without getting cramped up.
The seat itself is formed to fit your backside. In fact we provide instructions
to enable you to customize it for a perfect fit. It's also made in such
a way as to lower the center of gravity considerably thereby increasing
stability of your kayak.
The seat and hip pads are cut from 3 inch thick Minicell foam.
The backrest is made from a special plastic that follows the side to side
curve of your back. It's padded and fully adjustable forward or back as
well as up or down. It's tall enough to ensure support for your back from
the lumbar area all the way up over the top edge of the cockpit. You can
even increase or decrease the amount of padding in the lumbar area if
you need to.
All hardware and detailed instructions make it easy to fit and install
into your Roy Folland Wooden Kayak.
Many seats and backrests, not nearly as effective as this arrangement
are selling at well over a hundred dollars in the USA.
